What Situation is

Situation is a monitor of what its sources report: the wire, the map, and market prices on one desk. It is not analysis or advice of any kind, financial, legal, or safety. Sources get things wrong and stories change; check what matters to you at the source, which every line names. Prices are delayed.

7 days live

Sign up, by magic link or with a password, and the browser you first sign in with watches the desk and the map live for 7 days, with no card. It is once per email address. Without it, the desk and the map run one hour behind.

The purchase

Live access for life is a one-time purchase of $49 through Polar, which takes the payment as merchant of record. There is no subscription and nothing renews. Polar's own terms cover the payment itself.

For life

"For life" means for as long as Situation runs. If Situation ever shuts down for good, buyers get 30 days' notice by email first.

Acceptable use

Read it, watch it, share links to it. Do not scrape the desk, the wire, or the map, and do not resell or republish the wire. We may end access used that way.

Changes
